Privacy Policy

TrueConform is an honest product, and this is an honest privacy policy. We collect the minimum needed to run the service. We do not sell data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you around the web.

What we collect and why

• Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password (bcrypt), used to sign you in and send account emails (e.g. email verification, monitoring alerts).
• Scan data — the URLs you scan and the accessibility results, so we can show reports, history and monitoring. Public scan results may be stored for up to 30 days to power shareable report links.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we store only your plan and subscription status.
• Emails — transactional emails (verification, alerts) are delivered via Resend.

Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your language preference is stored locally in your browser.

We measure traffic with our own cookieless counter: we count page views by page, day, and referring website. We do not store IP addresses, user agents, or any identifier — the counts are aggregate and anonymous, which is why we don't need a cookie banner. If you use the optional "Was this helpful?" widget, we store only your rating, the page, and any comment you type.

The browser extension

The TrueConform browser extension runs entirely on your device. It analyses the page you choose to scan locally in your browser and sends no page content, browsing history, or personal data to our servers or anyone else. It stores only your language preference, locally. If you click through to trueconform.com, normal website terms apply.

Where data lives

Application data is hosted on Railway (cloud infrastructure). Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional email is sent via Resend.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email us and we'll act on it promptly. Deleting your account removes your sites, scans and account data.
